Maranatha's Hosanna

Hosanna is our resident thoroughbred, insistent to be the first one out the gate and the last one in, always at a dead run so she doesn't miss out on a meal. She enjoys sprinting around the field and her curious black nose gets into everything, from the first dandelions in spring to sniffing the geese on the other side of the fence. We call her our reverse vicuna, as she has a stunning black blanket and upper body but beneath she's a deep, rich sable-russet, which makes her easily identifiable in the field from the other black females
